Assignment of the language

The language of the “Technical description” is assigned by the menue "Utility programs - MDM -options" or by the MDM icon bar "Vescon MDM - options". Here it is determined which language from the MDM is supposed to be used for the device parts list. At present the “Technical description” is availabe in the languages German, English, French and Hungarian. Via “Alternative languages” or the dialogue "Options - general" you can determine which language is supposed to be selected, if there is no contents existing for the language selected first.

Assignment of the plant-specific item code number

Here it is determined which plant-specific item code number of the MDM is entered in the field "Ident number" in the parts lists. The plant-specific item code number of the MDM is assigned to the properties of the structure element in "Default column for CAD export". This should be done on the level "plant" and can be herited to the levels below.

If no assignment was determined in the MDM, this can be done by the menue "Utility programs - MDM -options" or by the MDM icon bar "Vescon MDM - options".
