First steps: download, register, login, connection settings

In this chapter you find the necessary "first steps" to become a registered MDM user. As a webbased online data base the MDM is available at our homepage by download.

To download the MDM please proceed as follows:

Go to our homepage www.materialdatenmanager.de, there to "Downloads" and there to "MDM 2.0"

Choose the option "Store / Save" and afterwards "Open folder" - "MDM_2_0.zip" resides in your download folder

Open "MDM_2_0.zip" by double click and choose the option "Unzip".

Copy the data content to a folder (e.g. C:\Programs\VESCON\MDM) - this folder must be local and not unlocked and must fulfill the following requirements:

•no network drive

•not "My documents"

•not "C:/Programs"

•not "Desktop"

Start the MDM by double click on "MDM.exe"
