Copying universal approvals (creating a reference)

Universal approvals can be copied in other structure elements. Necessary condition is, that the copied universal approval is the original and not a copy from an other or a reference to an other universal approval.

Click on the button "Edit on", mark the universal approval you want to copy and click in the tab group "Clipboard" on "Copy".

Mark the target structure element and click in the tab group "Clipboard" on "Paste".

If an universal approval is copied it must be decided, if this copy should be pasted in the structure element with or without a reference. If the universal approval is copied without reference, it can be handled like a new universal approval. "With reference" means:

•If the universal approval is a target data record (a link to the reference data is defined) the target data record can not be changed or edited. All changes of the reference data record will be transferred automatically to the target data record.

•If a reference data record is deleted all links to the target data records will be deleted - they are separate.

•A target data record can not be changed into a reference data record.

•It is not possible to delete a link between target and reference data record.
