Mass data – set value

Via the function “Set value” you can set an identical value in one/a column of all selected data records.

This function is available for all pure text fields and in the list fields (e.g. “Manufacturer”, “Type/series”) in the component data record.

As to the column “Manufacturer” you have to consider that only the new value for a premium manufacturer can be changed.

As to the column “Type/series” you have to consider that only components of identical manufacturers can be marked, as entries in this column are always assigned to one and the same manufacturer.

Via the checkbox in the first column you can deselect those data records which are not supposed to be changed by this function.

The value of the column before execution of the function is displayed in “Original value“. The “New value” is represented in the column of the same name. The lines which have been changed by the function are marked red.
