In a component list the “Detailed view” of a component is opened via the icon in the ribbon or by a double click.
Detail_View
Depending on permission or work step the data are either displayed or can be edited. The data are entered in the fields or selected from the list fields; by a click on the buttons entries can be collected or selected in several different languages.
•General attributes:
In the area “General attributes” general data and information referring to a component are collected and displayed. The contents referring to the fields “Manufacturer”, “Designation” and “Type/series“ are selected from lists.
The data contents referring to the fields “Technical description” and “Comments” can be entered in different languages after a click on the coloured field name.
The data in the tab “General attributes” are readable for all users.
•Life cycle data:
In the tab “Life cycle data” specific information on the obsolescence management are stored, for example availability of spare parts or end of spare part sales. These data fields are only visible to the respective component manufacturer and the operator.

•CAE:
The tab "CAE" provides data that are used via the CAD interface. Entries in the fields “TD1” and “TD2”, for example, are written at icons in the circuit diagrams. These are, for example, performance values of motors or the amperage of protective devices (fuses).
•DAIMLER-specific fields
In this tab operator-specific data are stored. These are normally stock numbers referring to components in the individual plants/locations.
•Data record information
In the tab "Data record info" the creator of the respective data record, the date of creation and the last editor with the date of update are displayed.
Scrolling in the detail view of components is possible without closing of the detail view.
