In the tab "Device class (=“Type/series“) you can define manufacturer-specific designations related to the component data. These can be, for example, names of product groups or superordinated type names. These terms can be searched for, filtered of grouped in the component view.
To create new device classes please open the register "Device class" and click on the buttons "Edit on" and "Add device class". Enter the data and "Save & Close".
