Range of functions

In the device parts lists a coloured dot indicates the range of functions assigned to the manufacturer and the corresponding device. In many places, this has direct influence on the functionalities being availabe. As a rule, you can say that for devices marked by a green dot all functions are available, while for devices marked by a red dot only a limited number of functions is offered.

Range of functions “Premium”:

For this data record any functions are available.

Range of functions “Limited”

You cannot change these data or create new data related to this manufacturer. For them, not all functions are available, e.g.:

- Definition of predecessor / successor

- Definition of comparable types

- all workflow functions

To be able to use the complete range of functions of the MDM, an additional agreement with SCIO Automation is needed.

Range of functions “Undefined”

Limited range of functions (no workflow functions), authorized users can change data and create new ones.
