General Task

Via “General Task“ you can communicate with other MDM users on a device. You can use this task, for example, to make further inquiries on a device at the manufacturer or other users.

You can add several devices to a task. For each device, however, an independent task will be generated.

If the task is generated via the “Device-context“ tab, all selected devices will be automatically added to the task.

The task can be sent to one or several different recipients. If several recipients have been selected, you can determine via the control box “One task per user” whether each single recipient is supposed to deal with the task (box ticked) or whether it is sufficient if only one of them deals with the task (box not ticked – default setting).

In the text field “Remark“ you can enter what the recipients of the task are supposed to do. The remark can also be edited by the recipient.
