Mass data – upper and lower case letters

Back  Home  Next

With the help of this function you can revise a text in terms of upper case or lower case letters.

This function is available in pure text columns only.

This is the way it works:

The words are filtered out of all existing texts. This is done with the help of specific separators. By default the line break and the space character are used as separators, but you may as well determine one or several other separators of your own.

You can then apply the actual functions to the selected columns of the resulting word list (checkbox in the first column).

Via “Display in result list“ the modified words are transferred into the result list. Here the individual lines can be checked before the actual transfer is executed.

Via the checkbox in the first column data records which are not supposed to be changed by this function can be deselected.

The value of the column before execution of the function is displayed in “Original value“. The “New value” is represented in the column of the same name. The lines which have been changed by the function are marked red.
