Field definition administration

It is possible to define specific fields for catalog articles. These fields are defined for a certain manufacturer and will be assigned by "Device class". To do so click on the tab "catalog articles", on  the register "catalog article import" and on the button "Field definition administration". After the selection of a certain format the following dialog is opened:

Numbers, strings and virtual fields are available. Strings are always multilingual. Virtual fields are intended only for representation. E.g. scale units for numbers can be displayed or combinations of two fields ("Length" and "Width" -> "Length x Width in inches").

After the definition of fields "Device class" will be assigned by clicking on the button "Link device classes".
