Create new component

For creating a new component directly in the MDM special permissions are required. These permissions have only premium manufacturers, a small number of OEM users and the SCIO Automation administrators. Other MDM users must make a request for a New device .

New components can be created in the view “Components” or “Manufacturers components” via the command “New component“. In addition, it is possible to duplicate a component which has been opened in the detailed view.

Attention: first the button "Edit on" must be activated!

By a double-click on a component / record or a click on the button „Details“ the detailed view can be opened.
